Inverted SALT eye I hope its not to confusing , but i turned on/off the inverted effect while i work in this video so that you can see what im doing ( get a better understanding of it ) As always the full/ long video is on my facebook / youtube page =) I heard people saying terms like : taking it to the next level : with what i did here but is art not about finding new and interesting things ? Thats what im trying to do with every project i undertake ( almost every ) limits are only there to be overtaken – and as i write this im already planing to step it up again and do it even more advanced by adding another element that will shake things up =) Im all about pushing , testing and experimenting with new things – wanted to give it a go and see what i could do if i would combine the two techniques i practice =) The eye you might also recognize , its my own eye – and i used it for a art competition once few years back ( it was drawing hundreds of times by some of the most incredible artist )

Inverted Salt heart The picture you see here is the Inverted version of the heart done entirely with regular kitchen salt on a black carpet and if you look at my profile and see the second post you can see the Normal version . The reverse colors effect shows what the original picture really is =) If you dont believe me find an app/ program and invert the image yourself and see what happens =) The main idea of this project will be visible in the video , once i finish editing it =) For the people complaining that i waste salt : for all the projects i have done until now i have used about 20 kg of salt ( and yes i reuse it as much as i can ) while we here in Norway use 238.000 tons of salt per year to defrost the roads ( i know its not the same fine processed salt i use / but salt nonetheless ) – im trying to say there is no shortage of salt in the world , and im not trying to wasting it – so try not the be a hater =)
