My recent fine art photograph depicts the postmodern cultural and architectural icon of Malaysia within the context of surrealism through my post productions. The focus was to emphasize the beauty of this masterpiece architecture and it’s eye catching surrounding urban design by playing with the lines, surfaces and to find a meaningful relationship to convey the lights through these elements to bring interestingness to the work. One of my favorite elements in architectural photography is to use the street elements like street lights in the frame (if available). Some of these elements are beautifully designed and sometimes you find them mediocre. Either of these two cases, they usually can make a good balance and can be aesthetically a good add-on to the image. The superstructure of Petronas Twin Towers designed by Cesar Pelli are aesthetically pleasant and they are a reflection and homage to the dominant Islamic culture of Malaysia.
